Recruiting Undergraduate/Graduate Research Assistants

Dr. Wei “David” Fan, assistant professor in civil engineering at The University of Texas at Tyler, currently recruiting highly motivated students with background in Transportation/Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Mathematics/Statistics to join our transportation research group. Individuals with research/working experience in Transportation Planning, GIS, Traffic Operations and Safety, Analytical Modeling and Quantitative Analysis are especially encouraged to apply.

For the Post-doctoral position, applicants are required to have an earned Ph.D. degree in Transportation Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research or other related fields, with exceptional programming skills using Java. Individuals with strong background in Analytical Modeling and Quantitative Analysis, Traffic Operations and Optimization, Transportation Planning, and Highway Safety are especially encouraged to apply.
