UT Tyler Establishes Research Center On Palestine Campus

With the help of The University of Texas at Tyler, soldiers of the future could become battlefield chameleons, their uniforms changing colors to match the environment and provide better camouflage. UT Tyler is working on the electronic aspects of the uniform. But it takes more than just electronics research. It also takes applying for grants, coordinating researchers from different universities and perhaps even commercializing the product. UT Tyler's Dr. Dennis Combs Receives National Award for Excellence

The National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology (National Register) Board of Directors today announced the winner of its award for early career psychologists. Dennis R. Combs, PhD of Tyler, TX, was named winner of the 2009 Judy E. Hall, PhD Early Career Psychologist Award. The award is named for the National Register's current Executive Officer, Judy E. Hall, PhD, and recognizes excellence in a nationally credentialed psychologist with less than ten years of postdoctoral experience. [ Read More ]
